Abstract

Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify correlation of attitude, self-efficacy and health promotion behavior toward skin care among college students.

Method: This descriptive survey was used to a convenience sample of 524 college students in a city (85.5%) and the other
area(14.5%). The data collected include on-line and off-line self-reported questionnaires using Self-Efficacy, Skin Care Attitude and Health Promotion Behavior. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, ANOVA and Pearson's correlation with SPSS/WIN 12.0 program.

Result: Results showed significant positive correlation between Self-Efficacy and Skin Care Attitude and between Skin Care Attitude and Health Promotion Behavior, respectively.

Conclusion: This study showed that improvement on skin care attitude will increase health promotion behavior.
